If you are "Middle Aged" and your Doc says that you need to increase cardio then this App and compatible heart rate monitor is a great tool. I use it to experiment with various low impact exercises and discover which ones are the most effective for me to increase heart rate. A great tool to help work-outs and understand your heart better! The App basically works slick. MUCH better than heart monitors and readouts of the past. This helps make exercising more motivating and you will push yourself to improve without noticing the work.
